“Through the fire. To the limit. To the wall.”
(Those are lyrics from one of my favorite songs…from one of my all-time favorite singers: Chaka Khan.)
What are you willing to go through to get to what you envision? Or put another way…what are you willing to STOP so you can move on to what you need to START? There are some things that will never start in our lives until we make up our minds to stop certain things that hold us back.
Whether that “thing” is a behavior, habit or thought, if it holds you back, it’s got to go!
Whatever your “thing” is, be clear about it. Don’t be wishy-washy, and don’t be apathetic. You’ve got to get it out of your life. Forcefully. Immediately.
Renounce it. Rebuke it. Remove it.
Books won’t do it. Coaching won’t do it. Classes won’t do it. They may help, but the real deal is for YOU to decide TODAY to choose light over darkness. Vitality over weakness. Dignity over shame.
When you take that step, it will feel like fire. It will be uncomfortable. That’s ok. Take another step. And then another. And another. Pretty soon, you will be through the fire and out on the other side.
IF you’re serious enough, fire can not and will not stop you. So keep moving…”Right down to the wire. Even through the fire.”
